Whenever I do development using VC I see messages saying Deployment failed see log files. To see I have to go to BASIS admin. Is there any easy way in Portal to get to the log files with no intervention from BASIS?

Hi Michael, maybe you have the rights to access NetWeaver Administrator. Go to https://<yourhost>:<yourport>/NWA/
There you select "monitoring" and on the left side "Protocols and Traces". There you can select logs and use many filtering options. Only problem: it's sometimes quite slow and you cannot easily copy several entries.
