Why to merge SAP TM organizational Hierarchy with SAP ERP Organizational hierarchy in SAP TMS System?

What is the need to merge SAP TM organizational Hierarchy with SAP ERP Organizational hierarchy in SAP TMS System as system determines the ECC organizational units from TM Organizational unit based on ECC Configuration i.e. "Assign Org Units for Sales and Distribution" and "Assign Organizational Units for purchasing" to determine ECC Organization unit based on TM Organization Unit?

Dear All,

I got my answer. Merging SAP ECC Org Unit with SAP TM Org Unit will help to flow Org Unit from SAP ECC Sales Order/ Purchase Order to SAP TM OTR.
