Agent field in Leave Request Approval (Fiori)

Hello.

We've just started implementing Fiori Apps. We have ESS/MSS all set with standard workflow. It works well on Portal. But if I run Leave Request App in Fiori it doesn't show agent field with selection screen.

Is there a way to show this field in stadard solution?

Could you share a usage for the agent field or upload a non-Fiori UI screen?

Helllo.

We have situation, when there is no way to determine supervisor, who will approve leave request. So we provide standard field to select approver manually.

Here is screenshot from standard SAP ESS solution.

I think most of customers use workflow engine to determine manager automatically and also sets fallback agent in case of no agent. End users do not need to specify manager.

I think it was result from design thinking workshop with customers.

Hi Vitaly.

Agent selection is not part of standard fiori app.

Fiori uses the org structure and the standard workflow to determine the approver of leave requests.

If you still need to provide user an option to select the agent, you will have to customize the app.

This would involve customization on both UI and OData front.

Please refer SCN discussions for how to extend Fiori apps.
