Hello you guys,
The concept of "my team" and "my group" isn't that clear for us. In our system it's not working as we thought. We did found some documentation but it's not sufficient...
So I made a quick exercice about "my team" and "my group", which I try to solve. Is this correct?
Let's say this is our setup:
OU 1st level ICT
- head unit position hup1
- Person1
- position pos1
- Person2
sub OU 2nd level ICT Infrastructure
- head unit positition 2 hup2
- Person3
- position2 pos2
- Person 4
sub OU 2nd level ICT Database
- head unit position 3 hup3
- Person5
- position 3 pos3
- Person6
If selecting "my team", which transactions will following person see if he is:
- Person1: hup1, pos1, hup2, pos2, hup3 and pos3
- Person2: hup1, pos1, hup2, pos2, hup3 and pos3
- Person3: hup2, pos2
- Person4: hup2, pos2
- Person5: hup3, pos3
- Person6: hup3, pos3
and what should normally happen when selecting "my group" for
- Person1: pos1, hup2, pos2, hup3 and pos3
- Person2: hup1, hup2, pos2, hup3 and pos3
- Person3: pos2
- Person4: hup2
- Person5: pos3
- Person6: hup3
Thx for revising!
Regards
Hi Kenny,
Please refer to the below link for details on how to set-up Organization Model.
Below is a little summary I can provide you with -
An Organization Model ----may have multiple----> Position(s)
Each Position ----can have a number of----> Employee(s) (assigned to it as a BP)
The roles/authorizations that these employees have is dependent on the Business Roles & PFCG Roles assigned to the BP & dialog users respectively.
Organization Model only helps to determine a person's role in the organization, for eg. "L1 support team versus L2 support team" or "IT team versus HR team versus Admin team".
Hope I could help you in some way. Please let me know if you have some other query or I misunderstood your scenario.
Best Regards,
Tanmeya

Hello Tanmeya,
thanks for your reply.
Do you, or someone else, maybe have any idea if the exercice about "my team" and "my group" that we made, is correct? This things we are stuck on is the difference between "head unit position" and "position", combined with "my team" and "my group". You can find this in the 'Belonging To' field in the Activity Search.
Hi Kenny,
I am afraid that I don't have much idea about your requirement as it is totally related to CRM.
I'll still try to consult my CRM collegues, if we can provide you with something useful.
Just a suggestion, you might get a better response and a quick resolution to your issue if you raise your question in the CRM section instead of Solution Manager.
Good Luck.
Best Regards,
Tanmeya
