SAP CS installation error

Dear community,

I try to install SAP Content Server 6.50 using SWPM, when i install  MaxDB Release 7.7.07.20 i faced with error :

MDB-07057  The system is inconsistent. Registry or SAP_DBTech information is available, but software is not complete.

Please help, how to solve this issue?

Hi Albert,

It looks like installation was not clean and had traces of previous setup in the registry.

Refer to below steps

It seems that once SAP DB Software was installed and then only the software was deleted without the registry entries.

if there is no other MAXDB/SAPDB/liveCache software installed on this server , please :

-> delete <Drive>:\sapdb directory

-> uninstall all registries , please use tool provided by SAP note 572836

-> reboot server

-> start installation again

Dear Deepak,

You`re right! According this note(Uninstall and Delete SAP MaxDB (Sherry Yu - ISV Engineering, Oracle Corp) i deleted all parts of old maxdb installation and now it`s all fine.
