In IDT I am not able to publish the universe to Server

Hi,

I am using IDT 14.0.4 version installed on a Virtual Machine with SAP BusinessObjects BI platform 4.

When I select Publish a Universe to repository, after selecting the Universes folder, the Next button is disabled. I give the name of the file and publish the repository. Though Finish button is enabled, when I click it nothing happens.

Please suggest how to resolve this issue.

Hi,

check whether the server is up and yes i have also faced the same problem that the button is disabled try maximize the window by dragging the mouse cursor then the button will appear.

Hi

Follow the below steps: Publish the Universe to the Repository.

Select the business layer under project -> Right Click the Business Layer and select, publish repository from the menu. -> and next --> Choose the Repository Folder to store the Universe --> Publish Universe After clicking the “Finish” button

Note : Ensure the Connection for the corresponding Data Foundation is a Secure Connection.
