Item Description Line Break Replaced with #

Hi,

I am having a rather strange issue. I enter multi-line text in the portfolio item description and after saving the item line breaks are replace with #.

For example

This is a portfolio item description.

That contains two paragraphs.

after saving portfolio item is replaced with,

This is a portfolio item description.##That contains two paragraphs.

Anybody else experiencing this issue. I am on PPM 5.0 SP11.

Some additional info. This issue is not present in our production system which is on SP8. Which leads me to 2 possible conclusions:

1. This is a but introduced by the SP8 to SP11 upgrade that we did OR

2. One of custom development we did is causing this

Appreciate if anybody already on SP11 can confirm multi-line text in item works or not, this will help me determine if it's caused by anything custom we did.

Hi Lashan,

check SAP Note 1797388. We had a similar behaviour in the past and this solved the issue.
