SSO for Web interface transactions

Hello Expert,

We have Netweaver 7.31 ABAP only system with Auto ID add on. Most of the Auto ID transaction have Web interface. Whenever user execute this transaction it gets connected to browser and it ask for logon details again to proceed further.I wanted to know if there is any way we can eliminate this additional step of authentication. Most of the transaction calls SICF service. We can maintain user/password for logon method in SICF service but i don't want to do that.Thanks in advance.

That's easy. You just need to purchase and implement an SSO product. You can choose the SAP SSO product, or an SSO product that is designed to work with SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP. You can find costs of SAP SSO product and details of other products if you visit http://store.sap.com and search for "Single Sign-On" or "SSO ABAP"

did you check whether reentrence tickets are enabled? Usually WD transactions can eb called form within the SAPGUI without the pronpt, if this is configured correctly,
