Personas 2.0 SP02 Network Connectivity Error

Hello,

We upgraded to Personas 2.0 SP02 and now when trying to loving receive the 'problem with network connectivity' error. We had no issues logging in on SP01. I checked through the configuration and everything has remained the same. Restgui tests successfully and both XML files are reachable. I've also checked that user authorization has remained the same.

Getting the below HTTP 500 error:

"9/5/2014 01:58:00,515311 ERROR Sap.Imagineering.Personas.Common.Utils.<>c__DisplayClass6-><GetResponse>b__5 -

[HttpWebRequest_WebException_RemoteServer]

In ST22 we are now getting:

ABAP Program           /PERSOS/CL_PERSOS_HELPER======CP

Defining a whitelisted URL in [SPRO > ... > SAP Screen Personas > Maintain Whitelist URLs]  should mostly help in resolving the issue.

Thanks Sathish. I had this same problem and after adding a URL in the white list I can enter Screen Personas and there is no dump in ST22 anymore.

Same, after adding the URl in the Whitelist the issue was resolved and no more dumps.

Thanks.

Hey John,

Sorry I'm getting really confused as to how to add a URL to the whitelist.  Could you help me out here?

Hi Austin,

Go into T-Code SPRO and drill down to SAP Screen Personas:

There you'll see Maintain Whitelist URLs. There I simply added the hostname of the server our personas was on.

You can also just implement note 2016378 which resolves the issue as well.

Thanks.

We're now having issues uploading images. Getting the 'Invalid data provided.' error.

Since we're on the latest SP, is there any alternative solutions to this? Searching other notes only showed to upgrade to the latest version. We were able to upload images previous to the update to SP02.

Hi John,

There are no known issues around this. Would suggest that you raise an incident for analyzing the issue.

Sathish

Hi, John.

My customer is the same situation your issue.

So I'd like to ask you that the signales on the customizing check in the tools, turned green after import the Note?

I import the Note, But the signales are yellow after that.

And I does not fix the logon issue.

Best regards.

Hiroya Maekawa.

Hello,

After importing the note we still did not see all green under our target systems.

However, we no longer have login issues.

Thanks,

JP

Have you created the RFC as described in Configuration Guide SP02 page 17?:

https://websmp108.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_FRAME=CONTAINER&_HIER_KEY=501100035870000015092&_HIER_KEY=...

Then you should assgn this RFC to your system in

SPRO -> SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> Cross-

Application Components -> SAP Screen Personas -> Maintain Systems

Hi, John and Daniel.

I had already Create RFC connection type H.

But I'm not sure that the name is correct or not. I named 'System-ID + Client' like 'XXXClent100'.

My customer has an issue that it does not get the user proflie after login.

So it would be another type issue, that is, it might be A SSO setting issue.

But I tried the some solution semiler that.

Thanks.

Hi, John.

Thank you for information. I understand that The yellow signals is not caused the issue of login.

Thanks.

Hiroya.

i understand from this thread that as long as target system and main system are the same, we can safely ignore the yellow warnings.

exactly also happens to me.

OMG, do someone even test the SP before releasing to public?!

I suspect the blank system.

How do you fix this?

Hi John,

Can you check if there are any error in the result of configuration check tool?

You can go to

/n/persos/admin_ui ->Tools -> Configuration Check

and expand all nodes and see.

All nodes under Personas System are Check successful.

Under Target Systems and the single system configured, we're getting Unable to determine configuration for the bottom 6 nodes:

Hi John,

Can you check if you have Kernel version 228 or more on your systems?

cheers

We're on Kernel: 741 patch 27

I noticed from: Configuration Check - SAP Screen Personas - SAP Library

It lists 'unable to determine' possible causes as:

Could be due to the following reasons

  • The RFC destination is not maintained correctly.
  • Error occurred while connecting to host/target
  • The RFC destination is not maintained in fieldHTTP Connector ofMaintain Systemsnode in SPRO.

Refer to the Configuration guide to rectify

I did not have an RFC set in 'HTTP Connection'

I created a connection type H RFC, however I couldn't find any mention of it in the Configuration guide so I'm unsure exactly how to configure it. Specifically for the Path Prefix.
