SAP GUI Property Collector is unresponsive

Hiya,

I can't seem to get SAP GUI Property Collector to work?

it just stays grayed out like this:

I've switched on sapgui/user_scripting on the server and the GUI has scripting enabled but the collector just stays unresponsive...

Any ideas why this could be?

Many thanks!

I got the same problem with NWBC 50 PL2.

Did you solve this, yet?

Sorry no...

I just gave up in the end.

If you manage to get any further would you mind updating this thread please?

Thanks.

Yeah, it is working now for me.

I have set

sapgui/user_scripting

sapgui/user_scripting_per_user

sapgui/user_scripting_set_readonly

to TRUE (must be upper case).

In addition, it was necessary to logoff from all my sessions to the system before the server side scripting got enabled.

Please select something different in dropdown box of "Process" if you want to collect from SAP GUI sessions and not NWBC sessions.

Thanks Daniel!

Still not working for me, but then I am on a different release to you - I'm still on NWBC 4.0.

Will give it a go again once I upgrade to NWBC 5.0

Thanks again.

Hello Robert,

Could you please check in Task Manager if SapGuiServer.exe runs in one instance, or if it has more then one? In case yes, try to kill the additional ones and try the Property Collector with one running instance of SapGuiServer.exe.

Best regards
