Hello Experts,

I got one OData URL https://sapes1.sapdevcenter.com/sap/opu/odata/IWFND/RMTSAMPLEFLIGHT and i can access it in a browser using my NW demo system username and password.

in SMP cloud edition, i am trying to create one application connection:

And when i ping this newly created application id, i get two errors saying

Backend system cannot be reached

Security system cannot be reached

Did i miss something in between?

Rgrds,

Jitendra

Does the SMP Cloud server trust the certificate used by your OData producer?

Hi Daniel,

http://sapes1.sapdevcenter.com:8080/sap/opu/odata/iwbep/gwdemo/ worked for me as well.

The thread given by Daniel explains about the use of HTTPS.

This blog explains about it too,

Are you connecting via your corporate network, if so please  once check connecting with other networks.

I have tried the same being on wi-fi (home) and datacard and receiving the same error. I am able to run the OData URL in a browser being on these networks but while pinging the "Application Id", i am getting error.

Can you pls verify if you are also getting the same response?
