I just installed a brand new NW 7.4 PO installation. Of course its Java only.
This is running on Sybase ASE.
So I wanted to run DBACOCKPIT, I cannot seem to find it. All the documentation I see leads me to believe its only an ABAP/Webdynpro program.
Meaning I need an ABAP engine to call it.
My problem is, the only sybase in my landscape is for my PO install.
And as of NW 7.4, SAP no longer supports dual stack.
Can anyone help me with this?
As the system is just a Java stack then DBACOCKPIT is not possible here.
What you can do here is to connect this system to an existing ABAP stack preferably running on Sybase and use DBACOCKPIT from there.

Hi
Could you refer the SAP Note for Remote admin

Hello Joshua,
DBACockpit is a ABAP transaction.
You can connect this system to your Solution Manager and use transaction DBACockpit.

If this is true, its a total hole in SAP's Sybase support product in my opinion.
