Dear Experts,
We have tried to run SAP Software Provisioning Manager 1.0 SP 05 to take export of NW 7.02 system in Windows 2003 R2 but we are unable to launch sapinst/sapinst GUI in the server. Please find attached screenshot below. we are facing discrepancies in accessesing the earlier raised thread hence we have created a new thread.
kindly provide your suggestions.
Thanks and regards,
Pradeep
Also, make sure you are not setting SAPINST_JRE_HOME manually before running SWPM.
SWPM works with its own java.
best regards

Hi Pradeep,
First share result for command netstat -an | grep LISTEN.Also make sure firewall should be disabled at OS.
If still issue persists try to use SWPM SP04 and share the results after that.
Hope this will help you.

Gaurav

Hi Pradeep,
Please check whether Windows firewall is disabled or not. I guess it is blocking the ports and hence your installer is stuck.
Hope this helps.

Hi Pradeep,
Always download the latest SWPM. And please read the below note: 1565076 - "Missing" installation service on SWPM and on Installation Master DVDs for 32-bit operating systems. Uncar with latest sapcar.exe.
lastly i tried with 70SWPM10SP04_8-20009707.sar and after uncar it double clicked on sapinst.exe.
Also need the latest JRE installed. also read the note 1680045.
