Hi ,

After performing system copy of production still customized objects shows Old (development) SID instead of existing new SID .

When user trying to modify custom object it shows previous SID,I have changed using Se03 to the new SID but still they're many object do we have any option to do it one shot instead of doing one by one.

FYI, I have performed system copy  export/Import method .

Hi Krishna,

Post system copy you should have exectued SE06 and select database base copy.

Follow the pop-ups coming and ensure you choose delete old configuration in the Pop-ups.

This will remove old system details and update with new one.

Hope this helps

Hi Deepak & Visu ,

I have performed most of the post system copy steps mentioned above.

<SID> I'm referring is ORIGINAL system under custom objects it's actual development system .

Scenario :  P01 (Production ) --> system copy  --> DEC (new Development)  ORIGINAL system appearing  D01 (previous Development)

Now I want to change the D01 ORIGINAL system to DEC .

Hi Krishna,

After system copy you have to do post installation steps.

There are some tables like (ALCONSEG,ALSYSTEMS,DBSNP,MONI ,OSMON ,PAHI,SDBAD,SDBAH,SDBAP, SDBAR) we want delete entries in it.

Depending on DB and OS follow the Post installation document in service market place
