Sender FIle Adapter

Hi Guys,

Is there a way in Sender File Adapter to poll and process the files in a folder, only when the folder has "N" number of files ?

Hi Senthil,

there is no standard functionality in sender file adapter to check no of files in folder. you need to develop custom adapter module or FTP script at FTP level.

As per my understanding, by standard adapter functionality this looks tricky. ( Unless we use a custom module,  etc. )

However, can we ask for some functionality at sender ?

The source at which these files are getting placed, can an OS level script be requested there where all files will be present at an intermidiete location before reaching a certain number and then these are dumped to the location pointed by our FTP sender adapter ?

Can you please elaborate your reasons behind this requirement and we can see if it can be satisfied by any alternate means.
