Hi,
In check instructions the check box 'InC Master Data' is not checked.
But still the product from supersession chain is being considerd for substitution. Any insights why is it happening so ?
YR
Dear YR,
It is valid to use Interchangeability for product and/or location substitutions and NOT setting the corresponding flag in the check instruction. Then the system still uses condition technique
to find RBA-rules, but within the Rules you have to link Interchangeability product
substitution procedures instead of classic ones.

Tibor

Hello YR,
It can happen if your substitution rule has been created with reference to Interchangeability group which in turn is connected to Supersession Chain. Basically, you can also use Interchangeability master data with Rules Based Availability Check.
You need to revisit the rule and see the settings made in the rule.
Hope this helps.
