Condition Supplement in SO

Hi all,

I am unable to create the condition supplement for a discount condition type to another discount condition type.

ex: while creating the K005 (Customer/Material) condition record, I want to use K007 Customer Discount as condition supplement condition type.

Is it possible to create the condition record for the above scenario?

As I was going through a SAP document there is one sentence maintained that "You can only enter a condition supplement if the condition type you are working with has already been defined in Customizing for Sales to include condition supplements".

What is the meaning of this sentence?
