Deliveries in Fractions

Hi All,

We have a problem with deliveries in fractions.

We maintained BaseUOM of a material as EA. This material is used in Sales BOM's in fractions.

When we create a sales order for the same material alone( individual item) we are getting confirmations in fractions, when the material is not available for total order qty. If the total order qty is available it is taking the whole number as confirmed qty.

Our requirement is to get a whole number of quantity as confirmation Qty when it is ordered alone even the material is not available for the required delivery date, system has to propose whole number qty in its proposal. Is there any way we can do this.

hi,

in material master u have to maintain the uom conversion for from and to measurements ,so that from MRP views when data is flown to atp and BOM explodes ,system considers the uom conversions before confirming the sale order bom atp confirmation.

second step ,in cs01 for lower bom materials the same conversion has to be maintained for exact fraction/whole quantity confirmation.
