Hi,

We are encountering an error when testing the connection of our solution manager to the PRD system of our customer.

We have done the troubleshooting from the correct IP on our solution manager and customer's system, also we have checked if the entries sapgw00 3300/tcp and sapgw00 3300/tcp are present in the services file of both system. and it is present. Please assist us on more troubleshooting.

Please see attached screenshot.

Thank you!

Regards,

AJ

Hi AJ,

Very likely, that in the rz70 settings, the gateway service is wrong manained.

Also check SMLG settings. they might be wrong. Also check:

364552 - Loadbalancing does not find application server

Thanks

Hi,

There might be many reason, best option to check the gateway traces, whether max gateway reaches, you can check in sm21 also for similar logs. in such case you need to adopt the rdisp/max_gateways paramter

other case, if you are running with firewall, make sure connection opened , proxy maintained properly.

Please check.

Thanks

Hi Almira,

open a terminal connection on your prd server, and try to contact Solman gateway via telnet, using this command:

telnet <hostname of you solman system> 3300

3300 (AKA sapgw00) is the standard port of the gateway service started by an ABAP instance whose system number is 00.

On the solman server, you can check the gateway process log by viewing the file:

/usr/sap/SOL/DVEBMGS00/work/dev_rd
