Also if you say that AVAC activation control type is 1 (automatic activation during budget allocation) in your budget profile, did you check if there were any budget entered against your project?

Hi Praveen,
Now, everything is clear. If you are having budget profile in your project profile. It means, you have set up a budget on all those projects where concerned project profile is being used.?
Secondly, the action 1 that you are talking about is actually the tolerance limit configuration which must have been set to ++ or any other Tolerance group and how can you say that it must be taking as action 1 in your case.? Might be it must have been picking as action 2 which must be error message because increased material quantity must be crossing the usage limit with appropriate action 1 or 2.
But, at the same time you also need not to ignore the activation type in budget profile (OPS9). It should not be set to 1 as per your requirement.
I hope it is clear.
Regards,
Amit
In addition to above suggestions run program RKANBU01.
Also check in OPSV 'Addit.' check box is checked for order type 30 or not?

Hi,
If you are not using budget in your Project, just De-activate your AVAC on concern Project using tranx CJBW. Save and check again.

Hi Praveen,
Obviously this is too strange. This will happen only when you are trying to increase the quantity of the material and the cost is exceeding the budget. There are some correction program available and you can also execute CJBW. But before you proceed to go for correction program or start executing CJBW and also since you are saying that you don't have a budget in your project, anyhow I will again suggest you to try following tricks to find out the possible root cause.
1. Check have you put any budget profile in project profile (OPSA). If yes, then remove it.
2. Check whether AVAC is activated or not.? If yes, then de-activate.
3. Check your cost determination log.

Amit
