Image from Appl. server ti FORM output

Hello all ,

We have a 3rd party system ( Kiosk ) , where we will scan a image.

This image will be stored in SAP Application server thro' SAP JCO in SAP RFC.

When ever we make a Transaction in SAP system , we have to get the image loaded in the application server and Print it in FORM output ( either smartform / script) . Image will be Loaded in the application server as Binary data.

How to get the image from appl. server and print it in the form.?

Kindly advice.

We are not storing the Binary data in appl. server.

Generated an RFC with input as file path, which make use of the functionality of SE78. Since it ( KIOSK) is a JAVA and WebExtras we are able to pass the file path.

In scripts ...

go to the corresponding window editor... keep the cursor in a line ...

and now goto INSERT--> GRAPHICS.

Here u can have the options to select the image either from Application server or from the presentation server.. Give a name to that and select it from Application server .. u will have F4 help for this... hope it solves ur problem..

I appreciate your answer. What said is DOCUMENT Server , it is from SE78 .

My Question is to get the Binary data from Application server and Print in FORM eithe script or smartforms.
