Portal downtime message

Hi,

Please suggest the best implementation process to display a custom portal downtime message while Portal is down due to maintenance window or patch update by the time if any user try to access portal. EP version is 7.0

Hi Ajay,

Few days before portal maintenance you can also use the BCM (Broadcast messages) in order to notify users of such future downtime.

Hi Ajay,

If you use a web dispatcher in front of your portal you could setup a temporary redirect to an outage notification - of course if the Portal is unavailable you can't host that page on the portal!
