Out of memory in HANA statistics server

Hello,

Just wanted to know if their is any permanent fix for the frequently occurring Out of memory issues for statistics server in HANA?

We have increased the allocation limit as well as the followed the SAP note 1929538, but the issue still persists.

Currently using Revision 72.

We can migrate  stastic server  job to indexserver from SP7 .

I believe I read somewhere that if you use the new statistics method there is no way to go back other than recovering your database.  In other words is not as simple as just reverting the parameter.

Thats true, I tried in one of the test instances and to get back the statistics server we need to go for a restore.

We migrated to revision 74 and enabled the embedded statistics server. Afterwards we are not able to customize alerts with sap hana studio anymore. I found oss note "1991615 - Configuration options for the Embedded Statistics Service " . In this note there is a description of customizing alerts with sql statements. Can this realy be true?
