Hello Expert,

How to raise an oss incident directly through solution manager 7.1?

Can someone guide me on this.

Hi Abhishek,

Have you checked the incident management configuration guide.

already you can see the link below

Further,

the process is as soon as you setup the incident management or service desk you can post incident in the solution manager system where you have a block for raising OSS incidents for the same.

You need to configure service desk for that if you wnat to raise OSS incident from Solution manager system.

Hi Abhishek,

You need to configure the SMIV transaction (copy to ZMIV) to send oss incident to SAP, and this is launched by the servicedesk.

Hi Abhishek,

You acn create Incident by three different ways:

1. go to transcation CRM_UI --> Create Incident

2. In SAP GUI, Help --> create

3. Workcenter --> Create new message

Hi Abhishek,

You need to configure Service desk at your end to raise OSS messages from Solution manager .For reference you can get document at http://www.rbe-plus.ru/pdf/solman_ServiceDesk.pdf
