Milestone Billing - Billing date showing wrong in the billing plan tab of contract

Hi Experts,

I have a business requirement of configuring milestone billing for service contract.in billing plan tab i have multiple plans(schedules), there the billing date is showing as 05.04.2029, where it is taking from, please guide me how to correct it

Hi pradeep,

It is already discussed but for your reference ........please find complete billing plan configuration

1. Define billing types in OVBO

2.Define date category in OVBJ

3.Define and assign item categy in VOV7,VOV4

4.Define for billing types in VOFA

5.Define item categories for deliveries in OVLP

6.Assignment of item categories

7.copy controls for sales doc to billing Doc VTFA

8.then copy controls for Deliveries VTLA

These are the important settings to be done for milestone billing.

Also check when is you billing date.Do it accordingly.

Hi Pratheep,

Can you please check in OBVO and OVBM with your billing plan what is start date there. For further analysis you can check OVBS.
