Fiori Apps not Launching

Hi,

We are trying to launch the some Fiori Apps.

It's throwing the "Unable to start App" Error.

However, if I right click on tile and open in new tab, the apps are launching.

Please suggest on this issue.

Hi Masa,

I'm not sure about the root cause but I guess we had done some Fiori Form Factor changes and disabled the apps for desktop. They were reverted again to support desktop.

That could have been the reason.

Hi Aamir - I did have the similar authorization issue. I got it fixed by assigned *UI2* Page  ( *PERS ; ENDUSER and Display) authorization to the users. I would say execute the application and do SU53 from gateway system or security consultant can check on that once you execute the service.

you are trying to access launchpage or launchpad? have you assigned proper roles for the catalogs/tiles access?

in chrome browser F12 option, check the network tab and console tab for the errors if any.

Hi Amit,

I'm able to login to Launchpad, once I click on the tiles, its giving me error.

Above are the console errors.

As in the previous snapshot, the resolvelink service returns empty results.

However, I'm not sure about the roles assigned for catalog/tiles. Can you guide me how to check?

Also, this is a performance system, and in the main system the tiles are working properly.

Hi Aamir,

Can you check the error message in /IWFND/ERROR_LOG?

If you can access the app by right clicking, it shouldnt be a role issue.
