Hi
When I filling the setup table (Perform setup - Purchasing) following error display:
Add the missing entry in the currency conversion table.
When I execute the function Indir.quot column is empty what should I do?
Are you connected to a Source System where the exchange rates are maintained, like ECC?
If so, you transfer global settings in the Source System context menu to update the tables.

Hi Imran,
I would suggest if you are not aware about how to maintain exchange rate in R/3.Please ask your Function team members to do that.
then try to fill you set up table.
hope it will help.

Imran,
The problem you are facing for this row is that the currency field is blank. When you see /USD - it means that it does not have a source currency field . You need to correct the data to see if the source data is coming in with the currency code.

Hi Arun
I create a new entry using OBBS after that using OB08 create a new entry also like I have assigned on OBBS and column for indr quote blank in the dir quote give my currency rate against the foriegn and save it.
But error is same
"For the conversion of an amount into another currency, an entry is missing in the currency conversion table.
Add the missing entry in the currency conversion table."
There is so many entries how can I find which entry is missing.
Hi Imran,
The issue is NOT with the exchange rate maintenance in T. code OB08.
Please check first the data you are entering for purchasing.
The error message is coming because it is not able to identify the source currency ( / USD) and also the date for which the exchange rate need to be determined (that is why 00.00.0000 is coming).
Please correct YOUR INPUT DATA first.
This should resolve your issue.

Hii,
You should have sufficient authorization to maintain the rates.
Finance team is suppose to do so.
Direct Quote for Example is Rs.50/- per $1.
Indirect Quote means for example $0.02 per Re.1/- [1/50].
Either one is need to specified.
Regards,
Akshay.
