Disable a GAF's roadmap?

Is it possible to disable the roadmap of a guided activity floorplan (GAF)? I would like to make use of the possiblity to step through the different steps of the activity, but I donot need the roadmap by it self. It uses a lot of screen's space and as the navigation buttons are not part of the roadmap navigation should be still possible. Any ideas?

Instead of using Road map, Check if Contextaul Panel/Horizontal Contextual Panel UI element might help you.

but that's the question. How to disable the road map? It seems that there is no standard way to do it in a GAF.
