Short dump in /FRE/FRP_MID_ADD program of SAP F&R

Hi experts,

We have SAP F&R version 5.1, SCM version 712. We generate sales forecast and order forecast for the stores. There are around 230 stores in the scope and from yesterday another 50 stores added. Today when the program /FRE/FRP_MID_ADD ran for the "Parameter optimization" it gave ABAP dump. The error message reads as below

Short text of the error message: "An error occurred during location processing"

Carry out a search with the following keywords:

"MESSAGE_TYPE_X_TEXT" " "
"/FRE/FU_CL_FRP_MSG============CP" or "/FRE/FU_CL_FRP_MSG============CM00A"
"MSG_CATCH_ABAP"

Unfortunately we could find any relevant notes. Is there any solution to this problem?

Hi Yogesh,

Please try to check in which step of FRP got failed and also try to check the error message in /fre/msg table which can give you a better understanding.

And also check whether the FRP admin setup done correctly for these new 50 stores. Go to  T-code /fre/frp_admin and then check the location tab.

Hi Arun,

Thanks for the reply. In the alert monitor we don't have any errors and the location is maintained in FRP admin. When ever we have a new store migrated in F&R and when the 'Calibration’ process runs then we get the errors and dumps. This is because calibration will fine tune master data parameters. We can avoid this by running first 2 processes of FRP before calibration
