Hi experts,
is there a possibility, to force/execute a check immediatly?
So, if I have a check which is execute just all 30 minutes, that I can check it now?
I know this functionality from NAGIOS, but couldn't find it in Solman.
I already know the report AC_ALRT_ANALYSIS_TOOLS, but this is only simulating a check.
Kind regards
Hi CHristian,
Can you apply the following note 1809762 and afterwards reconfigure the systems in question. This should provide what you are looking for.
Thanks
Vikram

Hello Vikram,
this sounds really helpful, but ont exactly what I am looking for.
What I mean for example is, if I have a check which is executed just all 30 minutes or longer and I get an red alert. After the red alert I correct the problem and want to execute the check immedialty again to see if the problem is really solved or not.
Kind regards
Hi Christian,
As far as I know there is no possibility available to trigger the data collection manually.
If the collection interval does not match to your needs, you can
modify the data collection period of the given metrics and save the
changes in a custom template.
If you only want to check the current value of some metrics(s), you may
use the report E2E_DPC_GET_DATA_CHECK, It especially does not contribute to the
event calculation, it's for value display only and only supports PULL_RFC metrics.
For all PUSH metrics, no similar option is available, as the data
collection is completely under control of the SMD Agent or the
Introscope infrastructure.
Kind regards,
Roland
