SAP Afaria Enrollment Problem with Android

Hello All , I have problem with SAP afaria enrollment in android device . i have followed same steps provided by Afaria Installation guide . But when i open SSP portal in my machine then its working. but same when i try to open with Android device for enrollment i couldnt not open and its throwing error with timeout or server is down. Can you please guide ? how can i enrollment Android device ? or Provide steps need to do for enrollment . Thanks & Regards,   Kunal Varaiya

What is the version of Afaria ? Make sure you applied the latest hotfix available for you, http://frontline.sybase.com .

You need to open ports 3008 and 3007 if you are using xnet and xnets (In device communication tab you can find these ports). And 80, 443 for http and https.

Hello Midhun , I just off firewall and SSP is working fine but when i try to do enrollment then throwing Enrollment failed. Thanks & Regards,   Kunal Varaiya

Hello Kunal,

Are you using Relay Server or directly connecting to Afaria server?

Make sure that Ports are open and scanner is disabled on Afaria folders.

Also verify Enrollment code validity period?

You can also try enrolling with 8 digit code from enrollment policy page.

Give it a try and let us know the results.

Incase using a Threat Management Gateway then you will have to allow the access to the website from outside your intra-network.
