Missing Edit button Service Desk

Hello experts,

We are doing the upgrade of our solution manager 7.0 to 7.1 SP10 and we have arrived at the incident management part:

But as you can guess, we encounter a problem. Hopefully someone could help us out:

We are using CRM UI for both message creators and message processors. But when a processor puts the status of the incident on "proposed solution", then the creator cannot confirm it. It seems that the "edit" button is missing. In our sandbox enviroment the button is there (but sandbox = 7.1SP08). note: the creator has a SAP_ALL.

Hi Kenny,

SAP_ALL authorization will not help here. Because here authorization controlled in work centers and role specific.

check any way you are trying to control the status changes using authorization objects B_USERSTAT

as described here UC00039 - SAP Solution Manager - Security and Authorizations - SCN Wiki

also check by deactivation of  badi AI_CRM_IM_PROC_CHECK as stated in sap note  1755271 - Message Processor cannot change the incident status to Confirmed or Withdrawn

Hi Jansi,

thanks for your answer. I've checked both your proposals but none worked.

BUT luckely after some digging I found the problem. In the business role ZSOLMANREQU, the setting for CRMUI_NAVBAR was incorrect. Now we see the "edit" button.
