ORA-01031: insufficient privileges
BR0835I Creating public synonyms for database log owner SAPSR3 failed
Im login as root, on the server, doing the installation.
Could you help me ?
I dont know this error.
Thanks,
Juan.
try logging in as ora[SID]
run this command:
does it work?
/usr/sap/SM1/SYS/exe/run/brconnect -u / -c -f crsyn -o SAPSR3

Hi Juan José,
how are the br* files permissions? If they don't look something like that:
+-rwsrwxr-x 1 orasid sapsys brtools
-rwxr-xr-x 1 sidadm sapsys brspace
-rwxr-xr-x 1 sidadm sapsys brrestore
-rwxr-xr-x 1 sidadm sapsys brrecover
-rwsrwxr-x 1 orasid sapsys brconnect
-rwsrwxr-x 1 orasid sapsys brbackup
-rwsrwxr-x 1 orasid sapsys brarchive+
...then execute the saproot.sh script (with root at the /sapmnt/SID/exe), and try again.
Best Regards,
JC Llanes.
