Stuck in EHP7 - Phase MAIN_TRANSEXEC/MVNTAB_TRANS on HANA

Dear Gurus,

I am updating my ERP from EHP6 SPS9 to EHP7 SPS3 on HANA.

Before starting the update i went through the below note:

I am now stuck in the Phase MAIN_TRANSEXEC/MVNTAB_TRANS.

I request your help in resolving the issue.

Please guide what authorization is to be provided to the user SAPERH.

So from your errors in the Auth trace file I can see that the User you are using does not have the correct privileges on Object ID 5305743.

So now you need to find the Owner of this object. The owner can be identified by going into HANA Studio and typing the following into the SQL Editor:

Select * from objects where object_oid = '5305743'.

Once you find the owner you will have to get this owner to grant the User SAPERH the correct privilege (CREATE SYNONYM "PPH_MRP_CHECKBUF" FRO _SYS_BIC").

Once you get the Owner of the Object ID 5305743 to Grant this privilege you should be able to move onwards.

Please also refer to note 2126689 for further information.

Try activating the nametabs PPH_MRP_CHECKBUF PUREQITEM POHVAL from Tx SE11 and repeat the phase in SUM

Tried activating nametabs but gave error for SAPLPA_PACKAGE_CHECKS.

But finally no luck.

Hello Reagan,

I am sorry I missed our mentioning that these objects are already activated.

When I went to SE11 and checked , they all were in active state.

As the activation did not start due to the dump, no current log is present.

I checked the activation log and found no error, and all these objects have entries as activated.
