The SAP Fiori Design Guidelines are now available! This design guide reveals the design philosophy of SAP Fiori and provides an overview of all relevant templates, patterns and controls. Additionally, it introduces commonly used application types such as approval apps and includes a UI prototyping kit in the form of a Microsoft PowerPoint file. Customers and SAP partners can use this file to create UI mock-ups by using SAP Fiori UI elements.

SAP Fiori represents SAP’s intention to deliver consumer-grade user experience to our most broadly and frequently used business transactions. Boasting a fresh and modern user interface, SAP Fiori apps adhere to a consistent and responsive design that allows users to seamlessly experience the apps across various devices – desktop, tablet, and mobile. The apps follow simple and intuitive interaction patterns that enable users to accomplish their tasks quickly and easily. Each SAP Fiori app is based on the following design principles: role-based, responsive, simple, coherent, and instant value.

The guidelines are intended primarily for UX designers of SAP customers and SAP partners who want to create SAP Fiori apps. But of course, everyone else interested in the user experience design of SAP Fiori is welcome as well! Have a look at the guidelines to discover the details.
