What are setting required in SAP ECC if we implement SAP GTS module .

Dear Experts,

I wanted to what are configuration setting required from SAP ECC ( SD or MM ) as part of part of SAP GTS Implementation .

I am familiar with the configuration activities required in SAP GTS module , but I am not sure whether we need to do any configration step need to finish from SAP ECC system .

Please help me understanding this .

Hi Raghu,

- Please define and assign logical systems. Maintain RFC destinations and Distribution models

-  You will have to activate the BADIs for Document transfer.

-  Configure document types under application areas for transfer.

-  If needed, activate change pointers for master data transfer.

-  You will need some changes in the copy control routines to avoid subsequent document creation if the document is blocked in GTS.

All these steps will be in your configuration guide as well. Please check Config guide for your GTS version in Service Marketplace.

There is no specific configurations in the standard SD or MM other Copy control routine updates. For some rare cases, you might need changes in pricing conditions.
