Stock transfer from inspection to unrestricted use

Dear all,

• I am new to QM
• This may be very simple doubt.
• I want to move the stock from Inspection stock to unrestrcited use,
• Kindly please let me know how to process.
• I am getting error  usage decision not found.

Check whether your Inspection lot is in Released status, I doubt it.

Current status is CRTD CHCR SPRQ.Inspection was not released,kindly please let me know how to process for releasing.

There should be REL instead of CRTD. There are many reasons for inspection lot not Releasing during creation. You need to investigate. When it is REL your problem would get solved.

Hi Raja

For the inspection lot what you are created is in CRTD status. This means that you are not having correct inspection plan with proper usage for the material. Then the system created inspection lot with CRTD status.

To solve create inspection plan with relevant usage and assign it to inspection lot in change mode.Then your inspection lot will comes to REL status. Then system allows you for results recording and usage decision.

Hi Rajasekaran,

You need to use Tcode QA32, by giving the lot number and click on Usage Decision and fill other fields, when completed the stock will be transferred to Unrestricted in Storage Location specified by you. (Movement type 321).

Hi,

1) what error are you getting?

2) In which transaction are you getting erro?

You can move stock from quality to unrestricted through movement type 321.

If inspection lot is there then you have to check it in QA32 T.code.

First record the result then transfer the stock from quality to unrestricted and then do the UD.
