Reducing File-Length whith ADS SP10 Patch 1 and Acrobat Reader 8.0

Hello,

we had enormous problems with interactive forms, because the documents hat got a file- length of 6 MByte and more.

Now we have installed ADS SP10 Patch 1 and using Acrobat Reader 8.0, and the File-Length is reduced to 700 KBytes.

Hello Oliver,

this was a Bug fixed by Adobe. The SP10 Patch 1 and SP11 Patch 1 contains the fix, but SP11 Patch 0 does NOT!

So be aware not to use this. If you go to SP11 implement also SP11 Patch 1 /* ADS P3C drop3c */ also!

Hello,

Yes it is available on the Service Marketplace and it contains an ADS that is also supported on x86_64 Windows plattform. I think this is important for a lot of customers.
