Issue with SAP IDM User Interface

Hello Experts,

I am using  IDM 7.2 SP8 and have some issues with the User Interface.

I read in a blog in SCN regarding the approval mechanism which shows a very good UI for approval. It has the option for delegation as well.

But I do not find these options in our IDM UI. We are using Netwearver 7.3

Also, once the privilege assignmet is approved/rejected, there is no history of rejections/approval or failure. In few of the forum discussion screens I

saw that IDM does provides those features but I am unable to get them.

Hi Rashmi,

                the delegation option was activated as of release 7.2 SP6 - see release notes
http://help.sap.com/download/releasenotes/nw/idm/SAP-NW_Idm_ReleaseNotes_7-2-SP6.pdf

Check first you have IDMIC component version 7.2 SP8 on the AS Java server where you
are running the UI and also did you activate the new approval mechanism for 7.2 - this would
have been an option at time of install.

Thanks for your help Chris.

Yes we were not on the SP8 version on the AS Java and we upgraded the same to 7.2 SP8. Now the UI has more options and looks good
