safety days and target days

HI experts

I would like to know if i maintain both safety days and target days how SNPheurestic will react. which one it will consider? or it wil consider Both?

Hi, they're different concetp. "Safety Days" is used to calculate safety stock, if you use safety stock method "SZ". "Target Days" is used to calculate target stock level if you set corresponding value in "target stock level method". They're both considered during snp heuristic.

Please do read SAP F1 Help for both these fields.

Both these fields can be located in Lot Size Tab in Product-Location Master /SAPAPO/MAT1.

Also refer existing SCN threads on this topic. You will get plenty of information.
