GRC10 ARM Implementation

Hi,

We are planning to implement ARM for our client could you please let me know the prerequisite for implementing ARM.

Is role management (BRM) is required before implementing ARM, kindly please advice me in this regard.

Hi Venkatesh,

In order to use any role for provisioning in GRC 10, you will first have to import the roles in the BRM with status as "PRD" or "PRO" depending on your SP and then run the sync job.

To understand about role import in GRC, please check the following post.

If you do not want to use all of the BRM methodology you can create a new default methodology and remove all the phases you do not required, such as approval etc.

You can also Maintain Role Types and remove the ones you are not using via IMG Configuration.

E.g have single, composite and business as your options.

So, in GRC 10 BRM and ARQ are closely integrated and even though you don't want to use BRM, still few things needs to be maintained as part of BRM as mentioned above.
