brbackup is taking very long time to complete the backup

Hi

Our brbackup was working okay but recently we added  more filesystem and after that  brbackup is very slow.

We have AIX 7.1

ECC 6

Any idea what went wrong here?

What is your RDBMS ?

What do you mean by "added new FS" ?

You did add datafiles or just some extra FS with no DB in it ?

What is your backup target, disk, tape... ?

Have you checked Brbackup log, it provides time information and you can compare with older logs to see where the time increase is coming from
