I install the operation system of redhat 6.2, and the kernel is 2.6.32-220.el6. I want to upgrade the kernel to 2.6.32-358.23.2.el6. How can I upgrade?

You can upgrade the kernel via install the Binary Distributions of 2.6.32-358.23.2.el6. And you need download below binary distributions, then you install them.

kernel-2.6.32-358.23.2.el6.i686.rpm

glibc-headers-2.12-1.47.el6.i686.rpm

I would just upgrade with "yum".
