SRM versioning in attachments in shopping cart

Hello,

I would like to ask you some more details regarding the versioning of attachments in SRM

1. Is there any guide regarding the needed customizing steps?
2. I create a SC with an attachment, which after the ordering is in the worklist of an approver.

        I need an approver to be able to make versions of the attachment added by the requestor. However the buttons for versioning are not editable.

Can you please explain the standard functionality of this?

Hi,

we have a customizing path below for attachment and its versioning:

SAP Supplier Relationship Management

  SRM Server

    Cross-Application Basic Settings

      Define Settings for Attachments

However, I want to clarify that since SRM 7.0 Java applet is
not used anymore for uploading SRM attachments. Therefore, SPRO
customizing for deativating applet and Versioning does not play any role
in SRM 7.0 for SRM attachments.

From SRM 7.0 onwards Versioning button in the portal is always available
irrepective of SPRO Customizing
SPRO customizing java applet and versioning is valid only for SRM 5.0

So if you are using SRM7.0 and onwards, versioning button should always be enabled in edit mode.

Thank you for your answer.

I would like to ask you if there are any specific steps in spro, so as to have the versioning buttton in edit mode enabled.

When i logon in the system with a role of a manager (to approve a SC), versioning button for already attached document is not enabled.

Can you please me provide if there are any customizing that should be performed?

I didn't find such customizing path.

It should be enabled always.
