SAPMDM DB Connectivity

Hi Experts,

Could you please let me know how do we disconnect the DB from MDM server and connect to other DB .Our database is DB2.Could you please throw some light on this?

Hi Bala,

No need to disconnect your server, in MDM you can connect to several DBMS's in parallel.

To move an existing repository from one DBMS to another you can use the suggestion below:

In the MDM Console you can archive your repository and unachieve it on a new DBMS or run a duplicate command to duplicate your repository to a new DBMS,
