sap brconnect statistics issue

Hi,

                    I'm Installing on NW7.3 using mcod first i installed ABAP+JAVA Successfully and I'm going to install ABAP Central instance with same dbsid in the installation of 19th phase CREATE DATABASE STATISTICS I'm facing the error please help on this showstopper.

Hello,

when you installa SAP System with oracle, there are a step to make statistics after DB import.

I solve the issue make an empty file (in your example) called F:\oracle\SN2\sapcheck\censuqsp.sta

and then the sapinst found the file without instruction to run the stactictis and continue with the next install steps.

note:

I do that because i'm working with a sandbox. in your case you have to punt the instruct to run the statisctis.

while installing the systems using MCOD we need to stop the existing server or not required.

Hi,

   While installing i changed the LISTENER Name and port to LISTENER_SIS(BI1) , port number to 1527 and DOMAIN is WORLD. is this an issue.

                       Could you clarify these doubts while installing

I installed NW7.3 ABAP system first with sapsid and dbsid is same as SN2 and later i installed JAVA INSTANCE with  SAPSID--SE1(when i gave SID as SN2 it shown some error) and  DBSID-SN1 but the oracle home is taken as \ORACLE\SN2\11203\, and i installed java sucessfully

now i'm going to install one more NW7.3 ABAP CENTRAL-INSTANCE system using MCOD but i give SAPSID as BI1 and DBSID as SN2 .and my doubt is before installed systems are standalone systems or dual stack systems please clarify the question its urgent

What oracle version is installed currently ? Check if the current oracle version is supported and required patch is installed on it.
