Hi All,

When i try to access my Solution Manager from SAP GUI it prompted with an error as "maximum number of connected terminals reached" . When i checked database size, and the console, the SAP system is up and running fine in OS level. But i was not able to access the system through GUI,.

Please advice.

Warm Regards,

Sudhakar G

Hi,

You need to increase an parameter value on the instance profile:

The parameter name is "rdisp/wp_no_dia". By default is 5.

You need to stop the instance, update the profile with a text editor (make a copy first) and restart it.

No, that profile parameter controls the number of dialog work processes, not the maximum number of connections. The parameter needed is "rdisp/tm_max_no" as mentioned in the OSS note referred to by above.
