Remote Component SAPWUS Configuration require base version

Hi,

I would like to patch my SAPGUI Installation Server for SAPGUI 7.30 from patch 7 to patch 8.

I have downloaded gui730_08-10010496.exe.

My SAPGUI Installation Server is at version 9.0.43.0.

I got the following error in my NwUpdateInstServer.log:

Remote component '$SAPWUS Configurations' ({41D37BB1-B482-41BC-A1A4-B3662A55A021}) requires base version 2114, but local component is at version 902.

Installation server at <D:\SAPGUI\>: not all base versions are present

May I know how to solve this?

Hi ZL,

It might be that you used a sapsetup patch that didn't include AWUS, yet you are using AWUS or have installed/patched it in the past.  So, I would start by applying the latest 'P2' sapsetup patch (pl45) to your installation server before applying the latest sapgui core patch.  Also, hotfix 1 for pl8 for the gui core is now available and recommended, so you might want to go straight for that and bypass the original pl8.

Specifically, I think the files you probably need are:

SAPSETUP90P2SP00P_45-20008539.EXE

gui730_08_1-10010496.exe
