Changing logon error text

When a user tries to access a test environment, the initial portal authentication tries to log him in with the username/password from the production domain. It errors out because the test environment is in a different domain. The error message is "UNKNOWN_ERROR". I would like to change it to something a little more informative. We've searched the logon.par file and cannot find where to change this text.

Has anyone made a similiar change. If so, where do I change this text?

Hi,

all the logon jars,pictures etc... is loacted under the folder : \usr\sap\<SID>\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\com.sap.security.core.admin\servlet_jsp\logon

look at the layout folder.

Hi all,

I also would like to change the error text in sap logon screen. (Portal 7.0).

Does anybody know where and how I can do this? I can't find the source file to do it.
