The link above states that changes (change documents) can be reassigned from one project to another. My questions are:

  1. Can the STMS route be changed to include a "new environment" into the landscape while the current Project Cycle is still in process or open? The current project cycle has over 100 change documents.
  2. Can the change documents be reassigned from the old project into a new project (with the new landscape)?

We are getting ready to go live with ChaRM and I need the experts' help/guidance.

Thank you in advance.

read point "6. Changes in the logical components of a project where Charm is already activated" from blog

http://scn.sap.com/people/dolores.correa/blog/2009/07/22/change-request-management-scenario-usual-qu...

The task list must be closed before doing any change the logical components, TMS routes. So this means that the changes in the logical components once the task list is active is not supported.

And thus if you would like to do any change in the logical components for a project with an active task list then you always need to follow these steps:

- Close the current project cycle (close task list)

- Add/remove Logical Component

- Generate a new project cycle (create new task list)

Any change in the TMS configuration (for example in the transport routes) will be handling in the same way.

Also about changing TMS configuration to allow mass transports you should know that in ChaRM configuration SPRO => Capabilities => Change Management => Basic Configuration => Transport Management System =>Configure Transport Strategy => The "Single Transports" strategy must be activated.

940326 - Error when you add a system to a task list
